Wichard ball bearing pulleys are based on an original and innovative concept: 2 rows of lateral bearings allow rapid engagement at low load, and at high load the forces are transferred to a solid, shouldered stainless steel hub on which the sheave rotates easily thanks to a self-lubricating ring moulded inside the sheave. The working load is higher and more efficient than on traditional pulleys.
