Wichard ball-bearing pulleys use an original and innovative concept: 2 rows of lateral bearings allow rapid engagement at low loads, and at high loads allow the load to be transferred to a solid, shouldered stainless steel hub on which the sheave rotates easily thanks to a self-lubricating ring moulded inside the sheave.
The working load is higher and the yields more interesting than with traditional pulleys.
