You can also accompany your operation with the application of a gelcoat wax. This is generally used as an option, but may prove essential if the degree of oxidation of the surface concerned is too high.
The operating mode of gelcoat products works in three stages, which can vary according to the condition of the support.
For light oxidation, it is recommended to use the cleaner B25724, then the polish light B25722. You can complete this operation by adding wax B25723, optional.
For medium oxidation, it is recommended to opt for cleaner B25724, followed by polish medium B19661. Here again, the B25723 wax can intervene at the end of the process, as an option.
Finally, if you suffer from strong oxidation, it is rather advisable to first use the B25724 cleaner, then to administer hard polish B25720 before finishing the operation with wax B25723. This time, the use of wax is imperative to achieve an optimal result.
It is strongly recommended to use a suitable polisher (B30005) if you want to obtain a professional quality result.
