The AIT5000 Digital Yacht transponder eliminates the problem of installing another VHF antenna. Indeed, it includes a complete function of AIS class B transponder but it also includes an antenna splitter which allows the main VHF antenna to be shared with the AIS but also the VHF, without losing data.
The GPS antenna supplied with the transponder has a 10 m cable. NMEA 0183 and 2000 data from other on-board systems can also be connected to Nucleus and combined with the WiFi system.
