Socket Ecopilot 12 V LECOMBLE & SCHMITT

The Ecopilot socket was created to meet a requirement to save electrical energy on board sailboats, energy that is often very limited and yet essential for the operation of an autopilot system. It intervenes at the level of the solenoid valve which engages the hydraulic pilot, a solenoid valve which represents a significant part of the overall consumption of the pilot. Its action is to let through, for a brief moment, the current necessary to engage the solenoid valve. The current is then markedly reduced, but still sufficient to ensure its maintenance. Thanks to this system, on average, the consumption of the solenoid valve drops from 30Ah per day to 5Ah. 12 V power supply, internal consumption 0.01 A, output current when switching on 2.2 A max, switching time 0.2 s, sealing IP65, LED power indicator.
