Description

Electronic charge splitters that isolate the battery banks from each other and automatically direct the charge current to the battery with the lowest charge. MOSFFET technology generates no voltage drop, which increases the efficiency of the charging circuit. Easy to connect, they automatically adapt to the 12 or 24V supply voltage from any energy source* (alternator, wind turbine, solar panels, battery charger, etc.). * Some alternators require a DC voltage on the + output to start charging. Inserting a charge splitter will prevent any voltage return from the battery and the alternator will not start. RCE+ alternators have an IG input that supplies the + output when the engine is started. The 2-input, 3-output models (L48225/26) are suitable for dual-engine installations with 2 alternators or 1 x alternator input and 1 x solar input.
