Wichard ball bearing pulleys use a new and original concept; 2 rows of lateral bearings permit a low load to be rapidly engaged and a great deal of pressure to be absorbed on a solid steel hub, on which the pulley wheel turns smoothly thanks to a lubricated ring mounted to the interior. The work load is greater than traditional pulleys.
