Nomad incorporates an innovative USB solution that allows the Nomad to power from any USB source. The source can be a low-cost USB battery, or the USB interface of a computer, or a 12V-USB adapter. The GPS is integrated into the case and the Nomad is supplied with a compact 25 cm external VHF antenna that is equipped with suction cups for mounting. Nomad can also be connected to any VHF antenna.
The USB and Wi-Fi interfaces are standard and there is a wide range of free and paid apps compatible for iOs, Android, PC and Mac devices. Wi-Fi connects up to 7 mobile devices simultaneously.
