These hydro generators are light and compact which allows an easy and quick installation. In addition, it does not require any particular maintenance. A simple overhaul is recommended every 10,000 miles or every 2 years depending on how often your boat is used.
Thanks to a wide choice of propellers, this device is efficient at all navigation speeds. The hydro generator is available in 2 powers 300 or 600 Watts and in 2 different lengths: 610mm or 910mm. Since 2018, the 600W model can be installed under the hull: the POD600.
In terms of power, it can reach 120W from 5 knots depending on the model and the size of the propeller (10A - 12V and 5A -24V).
The hydro generator is delivered to you with an auto-detected 12-24VDC converter, a 240mm propeller (200mm and 280mm optional), a cap with cam cleat and a fixing kit. You benefit from a 2-year warranty on the hydro generator and the converter.
