4G Connect by DIGITAL YACHT is Digital Yacht's new 2G/3G/4G (LTE) internet solution. This product uses the latest MIMO technology with two antennas for fast access and long range. In addition, this product has an integrated router to share the internet connection with wireless devices. 4G Connect also has a LAN and WAN port to connect a long range Wi-Fi antenna or to connect a satellite system.
The Pro model includes two high performance external antennas to improve 2G/3G/4G data reception and range.
4G Connect from DIGITAL YACHT has a very easy to use interface and comes with a Vodafone SIM card. Users can change SIM cards but the Vodafone solution offers the best performance at sea in Europe.
Operation is simple. Just switch on the product, connect to the 4G Connect Wi-Fi and your device will be connected to the internet. Digital Yacht's WL510 high-performance Wi-Fi antenna can also be connected to the WAN port to create a router that shares internet data from the 4G network and available Wi-Fi hotspots. iKommunicate can also be connected to the LAN port to provide the boat's navigation data (NMEA) over the same WiFi network.
