Silzig Buoy

The Silzig lifebuoy has many advantages. The highlight of the Silzig buoy is its three-in-one rescue system. It provides flotation assistance, helps in towing the victim to the boat and also simplifies getting back on board. Its 145N of buoyancy meet the international standards required to ensure the maintenance of the man overboard on the surface.
The ascent of a man on board is synonymous with a delicate situation, especially if the weather conditions are not favourable. The Silzig buoy and its cylindrical shape make it easier to use, whatever the conditions (rain, wind, etc.). It facilitates the pulling of the person to the boat without requiring the aid of a ladder or a hoist.
To facilitate getting back on board, the buoy has two rigid handles covered with 40 mm polyester straps making it solid and easy to hold. Also, over the entire length of the buoy, crosses a 40 mm strap containing at the end a carabiner with a resistance of 1200 kg.
The ease of storage of this buoy has a significant advantage. Thanks to its size and its lightness, the Silzig buoy will find its place in small boats, including those that have little space. The Silzig buoy can replace the conventional horseshoe buoy.
