Anti-collision system from FISHTEK MARINE brand. Acoustic device designed to limit interactions with cetaceans (orca attacks or depredation on fishing gear).

Screen and Display

• Battery life: 2 weeks (LEDs indicating charge level), max depth: 1000 m.

Echo Sounder and Probe

• This acoustic repellent emits on the 40 kHz band with a powerful signal of 175 dB.
• If you sail in a high-risk area, the pinger should be submerged at a depth of 4-5 m to create a sound protection bubble.

Performance

• The frequency used is only audible to cetaceans and has no impact on other wildlife.

Features and Technologies

• The emitted sound is not repetitive, which is unpleasant and thus repels the cetacean.
• It is simply a sound and the pinger causes no injury to the mammal.
• Designed to be fixed to a weighted line, towed behind the boat and emits up to one hundred meters.
• It activates automatically when in contact with water.
• If the boat is large or a catamaran, it is preferable to submerge a Pinger on each side.
