Description
The Contest 130 is a compass that is perfectly suited to use on yachts from 9 metres upwards. This product is SOLAS-MED96/98 approved.
The Contest 130 compass from PLASTIMO has a magnification that defies all competition. This compass remains perfectly legible, even at a distance of 5 metres. It features double graduation every 5 degrees and a heading indicator every 30 degrees. When sailing more than 2 miles from the coast (also known as coastal navigation), it is compulsory to be equipped with a magnetic compass such as PLASTIMO's Contest 130. This product has been designed in full compliance with current regulations to ensure safe navigation. If required, this product is also available in a version for inclined bulkheads and on a bracket for boats with a wheelhouse.
The Contest 130 compass is designed to be balanced for navigation zone A, i.e. the northern hemisphere.
