Compact man overboard positioning beacon using AIS technology. Dramatically improves the chances of recovering a man overboard by alerting nearby vessels equipped with an AIS receiver. In emergency situations, the beacon can be activated either automatically by the immersion sensor or manually. It sends alert messages, GPS position information and a unique identifier.
