Acetone 1 L, also available in a 5 L version, is the product you need on your boat every day for your various maintenance and DIY jobs.
As a stripping product, acetone is a very useful must-have for everyday use. It easily removes dirt and stains, even the most difficult to remove, from all types of surface. It removes glue as well as rubber, wax, resin and silicone stains.
Care must be taken when using this highly flammable and toxic product, which is also irritating.
Acetone is a highly effective cleaner. Acetone is best used outdoors. If you have to use it indoors, make sure your room is well ventilated for several hours after use. Acetone 1 L gives off a particularly strong odour. Our advice for reducing these odours is to apply bicarbonate to the surface that has been treated with acetone. If the smell doesn't go away easily, you can leave the product to work for 24 hours. Once the smell has disappeared, remove the bicarbonate.
